Where did it go in Outlook? It disappeared!

Depending on security settings, Outlook occasionally disables the ContactMonkey plugin. But don't worry, it is really easy to bring it back:

Outlook 2007

  1. From the top menu bar, go to "Tools" -> "Trust Center..."
  2. Select "Add-ins" from the left menu
  3. If the "ContactMonkey Outlook Add-In" is under the "Inactive Application Add-ins" heading:
    1. From the "Manage" drop-down list (near the bottom of the window), select "COM Add-ins"
    2. Click the "Go..." button
    3. Tick the "ContactMonkey Outlook Add-In" item, and click "OK"
  4. If the "ContactMonkey Outlook Add-In" is under the "Disabled Application Add-ins" heading:
    1. From the "Manage" drop-down list (near the bottom of the window), select "Disabled Items"
    2. Click the "Go..." button
    3. Select "ContactMonkey Outlook Add-In", and click "Enable"

Outlook 2010/2013

  1. From the top menu bar, go to "File" -> "Options"
  2. Select "Add-Ins" from the left menu
  3. If the "ContactMonkeyOutlookAdd-In" is under the "Inactive Application Add-ins" heading:
    1. From the "Manage" drop-down list (near the bottom of the window), select "COM Add-ins"
    2. Click the "Go..." button
    3. Tick the "ContactMonkey Outlook Add-In" item, and click "OK"
  4. If the "ContactMonkeyOutlookAdd-In" is under the "Disabled Application Add-ins" heading:
    1. From the "Manage" drop-down list (near the bottom of the window), select "Disabled Items"
    2. Click the "Go..." button
    3. Select "ContactMonkeyOutlookAdd-In", and click "Enable"
