How to Cancel a Scheduled Email

This article provides a step by step guide on how to cancel any emails you have scheduled to send using ContactMonkey’s Send Later feature.

Office 365 / OWA:

  1. Open your Outlook inbox and go to your drafts folder from the mailbox you scheduled the email from.
  2. Locate the Mail Merge campaign from this folder, click on it and hit the Mail Merge button from the ribbon.

  1. From here, click Cancel and delete the draft from your folder.

Note: you will receive an alert from ContactMonkey regarding this email. ‘We could not find a matching email draft to use in your Mail Merge. You may have deleted it before we had a chance to schedule it to send. Please create a new merge from scratch.’

Gmail:

  1. Open the Gmail inbox of the mailbox you scheduled your email from and open the drafts folder.
  2. Locate the email campaign you have scheduled and delete it from the drafts folder, this will cancel the email.

Note: you will receive an alert from ContactMonkey regarding this email. ‘We could not find a matching email draft to use in your Mail Merge. You may have deleted it before we had a chance to schedule it to send. Please create a new merge from scratch.’
