When an event is created, it will exist as a draft until it is embedded into a campaign. The event will become live once you send it in a tracked communication.

- To embed an event, open your ContactMonkey Email Builder and drag the corresponding content block into the editing window. Make sure you select the correct block as per your email client (customers using Outlook Dashboard Send should use the EVENTS (O365+GMAIL) block:
- Click Search for Event to select the draft event you want embedded in your campaign. Upon selecting your desired event, you can customize the RSVP button to match your campaign's design:
- The event will be live as soon as you send the email, and your recipients will be able to register from their inboxes. Please note that if you send yourself a test first with the Send Test prompt, the event will remain in draft mode, and clicking the RSVP button will redirect to the ContactMonkey website homepage.
- Recipients who register for the event after it goes live will be redirected to a landing page where they can enter their information:
