Gmail Dashboard Sending
Getting Started
Gmail Dashboard Sending makes sending emails through your Gmail workspace within your ContactMonkey dashboard easy. To get Gmail Dashboard Sending enabled for your account, please contact your Customer Success Manager or reach out to support@contactmonkey.com.
Here are some tasks you should make sure are complete before starting to use Gmail Dashboard Sending:

- Your Google Workspace administrator will need to give permissions to designated users.
- New to ContactMonkey? You’ll want to do some basic ContactMonkey setup before getting started, including:
- Inviting teammates and managing your team
- Update your time zone in your ContactMonkey dashboard settings
- Go through our Sending Checklist for Gmail
- Create your email before sending it! Follow the instructions here on creating your email.
- Configure your workspace to ensure Google Groups are properly counted - learn more about Google Groups
Sending & Scheduling An Email With Gmail Dashboard Sending
Once Gmail Dashboard Sending is enabled for your account, follow these steps to create and send a Gmail email with ContactMonkey:
- Log into your ContactMonkey account using Log in with Google - make sure you grant consent to ContactMonkey, otherwise you will not be able to send campaigns
- Select Emails in the top ribbon
- Select Compose & Send in the top right corner

Populate your Send from field option
💡Tip: Make sure you have permission to send emails from this email address. Learn more about sending from multiple email addresses
- Fill out your Send to field. There are three options: Google Groups & individual addresses, CSV upload, and contact lists through List Management
- Enter your desired Subject - learn more about subject line best practices
- Select your Tracking Option by selecting the Additional Settings tab - learn more about your tracking options
- Insert your email by selecting Choose from library

Select your Send at option. If you choose Send later, select your desired date and time from the calendar
💡Tip: Make sure you’ve set up your time zone in your dashboard settings, scheduled emails are sent based on that!
