Best Practices on OWA (Outlook 365 via Browser)

To send an email using ContactMonkey for Outlook, you can use either the Outlook app or Outlook.com/Outlook Web Access (OWA). This article will go through the optimal set up when sending using OWA. 

Hiding the Readers Pane:

Hiding the reader pane will free up space while sending the email using the ContactMonkey plugin. 

Follow the below steps:

  1. Log into www.outlook.office365.com
  2. Click the Outlook settings Icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings sidebar
  4. Under “Reader Pane:”, select “Hide”

Making the ContactMonkey sending sidebar more accessible:

By default, the button to open up the ContactMonkey sending sidebar may not be visible when a new email window is clicked.

Follow the below steps:

  1. Log into www.outlook.office365.com
  2. Click the Outlook settings Icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings sidebar
  4. Click “View all Outlook settings”
  5. Click “Customized Actions”
  6. Scroll down on the right hand side to the “Toolbar” checklist.
  7. Select the ContactMonkey icon.
  8. Click Save.
