To send an email using ContactMonkey for Outlook, you can use either the Outlook app or Outlook.com/Outlook Web Access (OWA). This article will go through the optimal set up when sending using OWA.
Hiding the Readers Pane:
Hiding the reader pane will free up space while sending the email using the ContactMonkey plugin.
Follow the below steps:
- Log into www.outlook.office365.com
- Click the Outlook settings Icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
- Scroll to the bottom of the Settings sidebar
- Under “Reader Pane:”, select “Hide”

Making the ContactMonkey sending sidebar more accessible:
By default, the button to open up the ContactMonkey sending sidebar may not be visible when a new email window is clicked.
Follow the below steps:
- Log into www.outlook.office365.com
- Click the Outlook settings Icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
- Scroll to the bottom of the Settings sidebar
- Click “View all Outlook settings”
- Click “Customized Actions”
- Scroll down on the right hand side to the “Toolbar” checklist.
- Select the ContactMonkey icon.
- Click Save.
