What’s Happening?
When viewing email campaigns in 365 Classic Outlook for Windows, button links will currently behave as such:
- The first button link is ignored.
- Each subsequent button link is shifted up one position.
- This results in users being taken to the wrong destination when clicking a button.
Important: This issue does not affect email viewing in:
- New Outlook desktop app
- Outlook Web Access (OWA)
- Outlook for Mac
- Outlook mobile apps
Recommended Workaround
To ensure your recipients are directed to the correct links while our team works on a permanent fix, we recommend the following:
Replace button components with text-based hyperlinks inserted into a Paragraph or Text content block.
This renders correctly across all Outlook versions and ensures links behave as expected.
