How to Recall an Email in Outlook

If you have made a mistake with your ContactMonkey email, you can recall it using Outlook’s Recall function for emails sent using Overall Tracking. The following steps will allow you to delete any unread copies from your recipient’s inboxes:

  1. Go to the email you wish to recall in your Sent Items folder.
  2. Double click the email to open it in full screen, then select File > Info. 
  3. Select Message Resend and Recall > Recall This Message..., and select Delete unread copies of this message to recall the sent message. Please note the Resend function does not work with ContactMonkey emails. 
  4. Select the Tell me if recall succeeds or fails for each recipient check box and click OK.
