Overview
To ensure ContactMonkey emails display properly with images for all recipients, your IT team needs to add ContactMonkey URLs to your organization's Group Policy as trusted sites.

- Outlook Web App (OWA)
- Outlook Non-365
Prerequisites
Before starting, ensure you have:
- Knowledge of your ContactMonkey data hosting region (learn more here)
- IT team member with Microsoft Group Policy Object (GPO) permissions
What is Group Policy?
Group Policy is Microsoft's security infrastructure that allows network administrators to implement specific configurations across users and computers in Active Directory environments.
Configuration Steps
Step 1: Open Group Policy Editor
- On your Windows Server, open Command Prompt
- Type
gpedit.mscto launch Group Policy Management Editor - In your existing trusted site GPO, navigate to: User Configuration → Policies → Administrative Templates → Windows Components → Internet Explorer → Internet Control Panel → Security Page
- Click Site to Zone Assignment List
- Click Enabled
- Click Show
Step 2: Add Region-Specific URLs
Enter the URLs below as names with a value of 2 (Trusted Sites):

Step 3: Apply Changes
- Click OK
- Click Apply
- Click OK
Step 4: Unblock Downloads in Trusted Sites Zone
- Return to Security Page and click Trusted Sites Zone
- Find and double-click Allow file download
- Select Not Configured
- Click Apply, then OK
- Allow time for the system to refresh and apply the new policy
