Outlook's security settings occasionally disable the ContactMonkey Add-in automatically. You can quickly re-enable it by following the steps below.
- Open Outlook and click File in the top menu bar
- Click Options at the bottom of the left sidebar
- Select Add-ins from the left menu in the Options window
- Look for ContactMonkey in the list of Add-ins
If ContactMonkey appears under "Inactive Application Add-ins":
- At the bottom of the window, find the Manage dropdown menu
- Select COM Add-ins from the dropdown
- Click Go
- Check the box next to ContactMonkey
- Click OK
- Restart Outlook
If ContactMonkey appears under "Disabled Application Add-ins":
- At the bottom of the window, find the Manage dropdown menu
- Select Disabled Items from the dropdown
- Click Go
- Select ContactMonkey
- Click Enable
- Restart Outlook

If you've followed these steps and still don't see the ContactMonkey Add-in in Outlook, try these solutions:
- Restart Outlook completely: Close all Outlook windows and reopen the application
- Check if ContactMonkey is installed: The Add-in must be installed on your computer before it can be enabled
- Contact your IT administrator: Your organization's security policies may prevent Add-ins from running
