Depending on security settings, Outlook occasionally disables the ContactMonkey plugin. But don't worry, it is really easy to bring it back:
Outlook 2007
- From the top menu bar, go to "Tools" -> "Trust Center..."
- Select "Add-ins" from the left menu
- If the "ContactMonkey Outlook Add-In" is under the "Inactive Application Add-ins" heading:
- From the "Manage" drop-down list (near the bottom of the window), select "COM Add-ins"
- Click the "Go..." button
- Tick the "ContactMonkey Outlook Add-In" item, and click "OK"
- If the "ContactMonkey Outlook Add-In" is under the "Disabled Application Add-ins" heading:
- From the "Manage" drop-down list (near the bottom of the window), select "Disabled Items"
- Click the "Go..." button
- Select "ContactMonkey Outlook Add-In", and click "Enable"
Outlook 2010/2013
- From the top menu bar, go to "File" -> "Options"
- Select "Add-Ins" from the left menu
- If the "ContactMonkeyOutlookAdd-In" is under the "Inactive Application Add-ins" heading:
- From the "Manage" drop-down list (near the bottom of the window), select "COM Add-ins"
- Click the "Go..." button
- Tick the "ContactMonkey Outlook Add-In" item, and click "OK"
- If the "ContactMonkeyOutlookAdd-In" is under the "Disabled Application Add-ins" heading:
- From the "Manage" drop-down list (near the bottom of the window), select "Disabled Items"
- Click the "Go..." button
- Select "ContactMonkeyOutlookAdd-In", and click "Enable"
