Manual updates are required for the Outlook Non-365 Add-in to access the latest features and bug fixes. This is done by uninstalling the .exe file and installing the new version. Your emails, templates, and settings will be preserved.
If you use Outlook 365, your Add-in updates automatically.
Uninstall the Current Add-in

Install the Updated Add-in
1. Go to contactmonkey.com/install-internal-comms
2. Click Non Office 365
3. The ContactMonkey.exe file will download to your device
4. Open the downloaded file
5. Follow the installation prompts
Verify the Update
After restarting Outlook:
- Click the ContactMonkey tab above your ribbon
- The version should be updated to reflect the latest release
Troubleshooting
The installation file won't download
Check your browser's download settings and disable any download blockers. Try a different browser if the issue persists.
"Installation failed" error
Verify you have the proper permissions on your computer. Contact your IT administrator for further assistance if needed.
Add-in doesn't appear after reinstalling
Ensure Outlook was completely closed during uninstallation. Restart your computer and check again.
