SAML/SSO FAQs

• No. ContactMonkey only supports SAML 2.0 integrations, and integrations with SAML providers that support SAML 2.0.

• Yes. ContactMonkey supports both service provider and identity provider initiated SAML 2.0 support. 

• Yes. We will be able to integrate with other SAML 2.0 providers (upon request). 
• We currently formally integrate with PingFederate, Auth0, and Okta. However, please notify your salesperson if you currently use a different SAML 2.0 provider that you need to integrate with.
• It's a small effort for us to formally support an integration with additional SAML 2.0 providers. Once you let us know who your provider is, we will provide you with the necessary configuration instructions to get started.

• Yes. There is a toggle that our support team can toggle on (once your SAML 2.0 integration has been completed) where SSO-only logins through your SAML 2.0 provider can be enforced when logging in to ContactMonkey.

Does ContactMonkey support automatic provisioning of users?

• No. The current flow is that if a user wants to have access to an organization, they first need to get invited to the organization, then they can log in via SSO and automatically get assigned to the team and the role that they were invited with. 

Does ContactMonkey support groups or roles for access control?

• No. The current flow is that if a user wants to have access to an organization, they first need to get invited to the organization, then they can log in via SSO and automatically get assigned to the team and the role that they were invited with.
