ContactMonkey allows you to save your organization's brand colors as defaults in the Email Builder. This eliminates the need to remember hex codes and ensures consistent branding across all your emails and templates.
Before You Start
Gather the hex codes for your brand's primary colors (example: #FFFFFF for white).
Steps to Add Default Colors
- In the Email Builder, click Default Colors at the top
- Click Add color
- Paste your code in the Hex code field
- Assign a display name (optional)
- Repeat steps 2-4 for each additional brand color
- Click Save
- Click Save and Exit
- Reopen your email in the Email Builder
What Happens Next
- Your default colors will appear in the color palette for all future email editing
- These colors will be available across all emails you work on
Using Your Default Colors
Once set up, your brand colors will appear in the color picker whenever you're customizing:
- Text colors
- Background colors
- Button colors
- Border colors
Related Information
Your organization may also have Colors set by admin, which are managed centrally by your team administrators. These appear separately in your color palette.
