You can reset your ContactMonkey password if you sign in with a username and password. This guide walks you through the reset process and solves common issues.
Note: If you sign in with Google, Microsoft, or any other Single Sign-On (SSO), you cannot reset your password through ContactMonkey. Contact your IT administrator to reset your SSO credentials.
Before You Start
Confirm which region your ContactMonkey account is in. You'll need to select the correct region during the reset process. If you're unsure, contact our Technical Support team or try the region where your organization is located.
Reset Your Password
- Go to the ContactMonkey login page for your region:
- Click Forgot your password? below the login fields
- Enter the email address associated with your ContactMonkey account
- Click Send reset instructions
- Check your inbox for an email from cm@support.contactmonkey.com with the subject line "Update your credentials"
- Click the Reset My Password link in the email
- Create your new password on the password reset page
- Click Save to confirm your new password
You can now log in to ContactMonkey with your new password.
If You Didn't Receive the Reset Email
Check your spam folder. The reset email comes from cm@support.contactmonkey.com. Add this address to your safe senders list to ensure future emails reach your inbox.
Try alternative email addresses. If you use email aliases, the account may be registered under a different alias. Try resetting the password using your other email addresses.
Wait 10 minutes. Email delivery can occasionally be delayed. If you still don't receive the email after 10 minutes, request another reset.
Contact Support. If none of these steps work, contact ContactMonkey support for assistance with your account.
If You See a "You Are Already Signed In" Message
Log out of your ContactMonkey account before resetting your password.
- Click your profile icon at the top right of the ContactMonkey dashboard
- Click Log Out
- Follow the password reset steps above
Alternative method: Open an incognito or private browsing window and complete the password reset process there.
Customers may need to reset their password to access their ContactMonkey account if they have set up their sign-in with our Username and Password system. Customers signing in with our Google, Microsoft, or Okta Single Sign On solutions cannot reset their password through ContactMonkey.
