The ContactMonkey Add-in appears in the All Apps section of your ribbon if you are using Classic Outlook. If it is missing, you need to enable Optional Connected Experiences in your settings.
What Causes This Issue
Classic Outlook requires Optional Connected Experiences to be enabled for third-party Add-ins to function.
Check if Your Add-in is Missing
- Open Outlook and create a new message
- Click the All Apps icon in the ribbon at the top of your message
Enable Optional Connected Experiences
- Click File in the top-left corner of Outlook
- Select Options from the left menu
- Click General
- Click Privacy Settings
- Check the box next to Turn on optional connected experiences
- Click OK
- Close and restart Outlook
After restarting, open a new email message and click the All Apps icon. ContactMonkey should now appear in your list of available Add-ins.
If ContactMonkey still doesn't appear
Check with your IT administrator to confirm that third-party add-ins are allowed in your organization. Some companies restrict Add-in installations through Microsoft 365 admin policies.
You can also verify that ContactMonkey is installed by checking your Add-in management settings:
- Click File → Options → Add-ins
- Look for ContactMonkey in the list of Active Application Add-ins
- If ContactMonkey isn't listed, you may need to reinstall the Add-in
