Overview
This article explains how to configure a custom access level in BambooHR specifically for user provisioning integrations.
Instructions
Step 1: Navigate to Access Levels
- Log into BambooHR as an admin
- Click on the gear icon (Settings) in the top right
- Click on Access Levels
Step 2: Create a Custom Access Level
- Click Add Access Level
- Name it something recognizable (e.g. "Integration Access")
- Under What can this person see?, enable the following:
- Employee Access: All Employees
- Fields: at minimum, enable Name, Work Email, Department, Division, Location, Job Title, Manager, Hire Date, Employment Status
- Click Save
Step 3: Assign the access level
- Go to the user that will be used for the integration
- Assign them the custom access level you just created
