If several people in your organization aren't yet authorized to send as themselves for your SendGrid configuration, you can grant that permission to everyone at once using the Authorize All button in Send As Permissions. This one-time action saves you from configuring each user by hand.
Prerequisites
- SendGrid enabled for your organization
- Owner or Administrator role in ContactMonkey
What the Authorize All button does
The Authorize All button grants send-as-themselves permission to every current user in your organization in a single click. ContactMonkey checks how many users are not yet authorized to send as themselves, and when more than one user isn't authorized, the Authorize All button appears in your Send As Permissions view.
This button is only shown to current SendGrid customers who have existing users that were never authorized to send as themselves. New customers already have this handled automatically when they onboard, so the button won't appear for them.
How to authorize all users at once
Authorize All is a one-time action. Once you confirm, ContactMonkey authorizes all current users to send as themselves and the button disappears — it does not run again on future directory syncs. If you later add a new user or remove someone's permission, authorize them individually in Send As Permissions.
- Click your name in the top right corner of the dashboard
- Click Settings
- Click Roles & Access → Send As Permissions
- If this action is applicable to your account, click the Authorize All button:
- In the confirmation message, click Authorize All again to confirm:
Every current user is authorized to send as themselves, and the Authorize All button no longer appears in your Send As Permissions view. To close the message without authorizing anyone, click Cancel — the button stays available until you choose Authorize All.
