Customers may receive a notification that during a synchronization event, the event failed due to credentials that failed during the sync. This is because of the nature of Workday credentials and how a customer's Workday Administration team controls their expiry.
If the user account used to synchronize the list either has its password changed or was deleted, the credentials inside of ContactMonkey will need to be updated
When new credentials are required, please reach out to your Administration team. Once you have those credentials, you can re-add them if you have ContactMonkey Administration Level privileges.
Adding Workday API credentials
- Log in to the ContactMonkey Dashboard
- Click on your Name in the upper right corner -> Settings -> Integrations -> Workday (Configure)
- Under Add an Integration, click on Workday Sync
- Re-enter the credentials
