Your campaign ID is a unique six-digit number that identifies each email sent through ContactMonkey. You'll need this when contacting Support for help with a specific campaign.
Find the Campaign ID in the Dashboard
1. Click Emails at the top of the ContactMonkey dashboard
2. Click Sent
3. Select your desired campaign
4. Look at the URL in your browser's address bar—the campaign ID is the six-digit number at the end.
Example: https://app.contactmonkey.com/campaigns/123456 (campaign ID is 123456)
Find the Campaign ID in the Email Alert
ContactMonkey automatically sends you a notification email after your campaign sends, and it will always include the campaign ID:
- Success email: Arrives after all recipients receive your campaign
- Alert email: Arrives if ContactMonkey encounters an error while sending
Check your inbox for emails from ContactMonkey Support with the subject line containing your campaign name.
Troubleshooting: Campaign Not Found
If you can't find your campaign in the dashboard and didn't receive a notification email, the email was likely sent through Outlook's native send button instead of ContactMonkey.
Signs the email wasn't sent through ContactMonkey
- All recipients appear in the To field (ContactMonkey uses BCC)
- Links in the email don't contain the ContactMonkey tracking domain
- No campaign appears in the ContactMonkey Sent tab for that date and time
ContactMonkey Support can only troubleshoot campaigns sent through ContactMonkey. If you sent the email using Outlook's native send button, we won't have a campaign ID or tracking data available.
