ContactMonkey's AI feature automatically creates compelling subject lines and preheader text based on your email content, helping you improve open rates and engagement.
What is Preheader Text?
Preheader text is the preview text that appears after your subject line in email inboxes. It provides a brief summary of your email content and is typically one sentence long.

After Generating Your Content
Once you've applied AI-generated subject lines and preheader text:
- Edit the generated text manually if needed
- Continue building your email as normal
- Send your email through your preferred method
Important: Depending on your sending method (Gmail Dashboard, Outlook Dashboard, or Outlook Add-in), you may be prompted again to confirm your AI-generated content before sending. See our platform-specific sending guide for details.
Tips for Best Results
- Write your email content first - AI generates better subject lines when it has full email content to analyze
- Try multiple tones - Test different options to see what resonates with your audience
- Keep it concise - Subject lines typically perform best at 30-50 characters
- Review and edit - AI suggestions are starting points; customize them for your specific message
