When a web security filtering tool (e.g., firewall, anti-virus, etc.) categorizes the URL ContactMonkey uses to host its images (i.e., https://cm-email-assets.s3.amazonaws.com), you may encounter the following issues:
- Inserting an image into the Image Content Block will make it appear as a thin line
-
Images previously inserted into an existing email template may disappear, resulting in an empty Image Content Block
-
Thumbnail previews of files in the File Manager may be unavailable
- Accessing the file's URL link directly may lead to an error page
This block may apply only to Windows computers and specific browsers. Please ask your IT or Security team to re-categorize/safelist the ContactMonkey URL based on the region where your data is hosted:
- US: https://cm-email-assets.s3.amazonaws.com
- EU: https://eu-cm-email-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/
- CA: https://ca-cm-email-assets.s3.amazonaws.com
- AU: https://au-cm-email-assets.s3.amazonaws.com
In the meantime, here are a few solutions you can try to resolve this issue:
- Clear your web browser’s cache and cookies
- Disable any browser extensions
- Switch to a different web browser (e.g., Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
- Confirm that your computer’s date and time are correct
