JSON files let you export and import email drafts in ContactMonkey. Use this feature to share emails with team members for editing, create backups, or submit files to ContactMonkey Technical Support when troubleshooting issues.
Download a JSON File
Export your email template as a JSON file to share with others.
- Open your email in the Email Builder
- Click the down arrow beside Exit and Save
- Select Save Email as JSON
- The file will download to your device
Import a JSON File
Import a JSON file to add email drafts to your ContactMonkey account.
- Once you receive the JSON file, click Emails at the top of the ContactMonkey dashboard
- Click Create New Email
- Click the Import JSON icon
- Browse and select the JSON file from your device
- Assign a name to the upload
- Add tags and/or enable Dynamic Content + Multi-Language, if applicable
- Click Create
