What are revision comments?
In any step of your template creation process, you may want to share feedback and collaborate by leaving comments for your team. With our new update, you can give feedback at any point, reply and create conversations within the template and approve revisions. If you tag a fellow ContactMonkey user in the template, they will receive an email notification, directing them to the email template.
1. Finding the revision button
In your template, hover over the row you would like to change. At the bottom of the row, you should see a new button that looks like a comment:
2. Viewing Comments
From there, you should see all the comments. Here we have existing comments, with a thread of team members who replied .
3. Resolving Comments
Once a comment has been approved or handled, you may wish to resolve it. To do this, click into the comment and click "Resolve" in the top righthand side. This will then 'grey out' the comments, leaving way for active comments in need of responses.
Tagging Users in the Email Template
With our new update, you can now tag fellow ContactMonkey users within the comments. They will then get an email notification, directing them to the Email Template!
