The reply-to address determines where email responses are sent. By default, replies go to the email address that sent the message. However, you can configure Outlook to send replies to a different address than the one you're sending from.

Set a Reply-To Address for a Single Email
Use this method when you need a one-time reply-to address for a specific email.
New Outlook
- Create a new message in Outlook
- Click Options above the ribbon
- Check the box for Show Reply to
- A field will appear under CC where you can enter your desired reply-to address

Classic Outlook
- Create a new message in Outlook
- Click Options above the ribbon
- Click Direct Replies To
- In the dialog box, enter the alternate email address in the Have replies sent to field
- Click Close to save your settings

Your email will now send replies to the specified address.
Set a Default Reply-To Address for All Emails
Use this method when you want all emails from a specific account to receive replies at a different address.
Note: This function is only available in Classic Outlook, and the Reply-to address field only appears for accounts configured as IMAP.
- In Outlook, click File above the ribbon
- Click Account Settings → Account Settings
- Select the account you want to modify, then click Change
- In the Reply-to address field, enter the email address where you want to receive replies
- Click Next, then close the window

Note: The Reply-to address field only appears for accounts configured as IMAP in Outlook.
