This error occurs when you upload a CSV file to your Directory that doesn't include the timezone data fields required for timezone sending:

What This Error Means
Your CSV upload is missing one or more of these required timezone fields:
- Time Zone (IANA timezone format, e.g., America/Toronto)
- Postal Code or Zip Code
- Country
ContactMonkey needs at least one of these fields to determine recipients' timezones for scheduled sending.
Impact on Your Directory
Your contacts will still be imported to the Directory successfully, just without any timezone data. This error only affects your ability to use the timezone sending feature.
When This Error Appears
This alert is triggered only once when ContactMonkey attempts to sync timezone data for the first time. You won't see this error again for subsequent uploads unless you're trying to add timezone data.
Resolution Steps
Add the missing timezone data to the contacts in your Directory in accordance with your sync method.
If You Don't Plan to Use Timezone Sending
You can safely ignore this error. Your contacts are already imported and available for regular email campaigns. Timezone sending can also be disabled by following these steps (must be completed by an Admin):
- Click your name at the top right of your dashboard
- Click Settings
- Click Email Settings
- Toggle Timezone Sending OFF
