ConfidenceCheck's Basic Link Check gives you a quick, at-a-glance list of every link in your email so you can visually confirm each one is correct before sending. It surfaces all your links in one place for easy self-review — it does not analyze or validate them.

What Basic Link Check Does
Basic Link Check lists every link in your email, including image links and unnamed links, so you can review them yourself before sending. Each entry shows the link's anchor text, with the full URL available on hover.
Basic Link Check does not:
- Validate that links are reachable or correctly formatted
- Detect broken, suspicious, or empty links
- Compare anchor text against destination URLs
For automated link validation, toggle on ConfidenceCheck AI or reach out to your Customer Success Manager or the Technical Support team to request an upgrade.
How to Run Basic Link Check
- Open your email in the Email Builder
- Click the glasses (👓) icon at the top right
- Click the chevron (›) next to Links to expand the row
The list generates as soon as you open it — there is no Run button.

What You'll See
Each link in your email appears as a row in the list:
- Anchor text is shown for standard links. Image links appear as "Image," and unnamed links appear as "Link"
- Hover a link to preview its full destination URL
- Click the URL to open the destination in a new browser tab
- Click the link row to jump directly to that link in the Email Builder
Note: Each row is marked with a blue link icon, not a green checkmark. This is intentional — it signals "here's the link" rather than "this link has been verified."
Spot Missing or Broken Links Yourself
Even without AI validation, the list makes the two most common link issues easy to catch:
- Missing or empty links on buttons/social icons: Hover over any row — a healthy link previews its destination URL. If no URL appears on hover, the link is empty or unset.
- Broken links: Click the URL to open it in a new tab. If the page does not load, the link is broken.
Refresh the List After Edits
The list reflects the email's links at the moment you opened it. If you add, remove, or change a link after opening the list, close and reopen the Links row to refresh the results.
