When your email campaign is ready for review, you can easily gather feedback from teammates and stakeholders, whether or not they have a ContactMonkey license. The method for collecting feedback differs depending on the user's license status.
Collecting Feedback from Licensed Team Members
If your reviewers are licensed ContactMonkey users on your team, they can collaborate directly within the Email Builder. This allows them to:
- Leave Comments: Add specific revision notes and suggestions directly on any email block.
- Tag Teammates: Notify specific colleagues in comments to draw their attention to a question or suggestion.
- Edit in Real-Time: Work on the same email simultaneously and see each other's changes as they happen.

Collecting Feedback from Non-Licensed Users
You can collect feedback from colleagues, managers, or external stakeholders who do not have a ContactMonkey license by sending them a draft version of your email. Here’s a simple workflow to manage this process:
Step 1: Add an Instructions Block to Your Email
Before sending the draft, add a row to your email—typically at the very top—explaining that it is a draft and how the reviewer should provide their feedback.
Example Text:
"This is a draft version for review. Please reply directly to this email with any feedback or requested changes by EOD Tuesday."
Pro-Tip: For efficiency, create and save this text block as a saved row. This allows you to quickly drag and drop your review instructions into any future campaign drafts.
Step 2: Send the Draft for Review
Send the email to your non-licensed reviewers as you would a regular campaign. They will receive the draft in their inbox and can reply to you with their comments.
Step 3: Finalize Your Campaign
Once you have collected all the feedback and made your revisions, remember to delete the instructions block from your email. Your campaign is now ready to be sent to your final distribution list.
