After you send an email, it will show as In Progress in the dashboard. This lasts until all copies reach your recipients, and provides more immediate clarity on its status.
This mainly affects:
Emails using the Timezone Sending feature
Emails sent with Individual or Anonymous tracking to over 3,000 recipients, which usually takes longer
Emails sent with Overall tracking usually deliver to all recipients instantaneously. Once the last copy is delivered, the status will change to Sent.
Note: You cannot edit or cancel emails that are In Progress.
