The Schedule for later feature lets you compose an email now and schedule it to send at a future date and time. This is perfect for coordinating with different timezones, ensuring messages arrive at optimal engagement times, or preparing communications in advance.
Before you can schedule an email, you must first create and save your template in the ContactMonkey Email Builder. If you're new to this process, learn how by reading this article.

Scheduling Your Email
Once your email is finalized, you can schedule it directly from the dashboard.
- Click Emails → Compose & Send
- Fill out the required fields
- Select Schedule for later
- Click the calendar text box and select the date and time the email will be sent
- Click Schedule for later to confirm. Your email is now queued to send at the selected time.
Managing a Scheduled Email
You can easily preview, reschedule, or cancel your scheduled email at any time before it is sent.
- Click Emails at the top of your dashboard
- Select the Scheduled tab to view all emails that are queued to be sent
- Locate the email you wish to manage. You can use the search bar or scroll through the list
- Click on the email to open the options menu, where you can choose to Preview, Reschedule, Apply Tag, or Cancel the scheduled send
