This article shows you how to upload a properly formatted CSV file in the Web Add-in for sending tracked emails to large recipient lists. You can upload a spreadsheet with up to 10,000 email addresses for one-time bulk sends.

Prerequisite

Your CSV file must be properly formatted. Click here for guidelines.

Upload Process

1. Open a new message in Outlook
2. Open the Web Add-in
3. Click Contact Lists
4. Select Upload CSV
5. Browse and select your desired file

Validate Upload

1. The Web Add-in will automatically validate your file
2. You'll see a confirmation showing the number of emails processed
3. Click Count Recipients for a more detailed report
4. Important: Ensure the Outlook "To" field remains empty - ContactMonkey will only send to recipients in your CSV

File Validation Results

Successful Upload

• Green confirmation message
• Number of processed emails displayed

Upload Errors

• Red error message appears
• Common issues:
  • Missing "Email" header
  • Duplicate email addresses
  • Invalid email formats
  • File size exceeds 10,000 recipients

Send Your Campaign

1. Compose your email content
2. Select tracking preference
3. Click Send & Track or schedule for later
