This article shows you how to upload a properly formatted CSV file in the Outlook 365 Add-in for sending tracked emails to large recipient lists. You can upload a spreadsheet with up to 10,000 email addresses for one-time bulk sends.

Prerequisite
Your CSV file must be properly formatted. Click here for guidelines.
Upload Process
- Open a new message in Outlook
- Open the Outlook 365 Add-in
- Click Contact Lists
- Select Upload CSV
- Browse and select your desired file

Validate Upload
- The Add-in will automatically validate your file
- You'll see a confirmation showing the number of emails processed
- Click Count Recipients for a more detailed report
- Important: Ensure the Outlook "To" field remains empty - ContactMonkey will only send to recipients in your CSV
File Validation Results
Successful Upload
- Green confirmation message
- Number of processed emails displayed
Upload Errors
- Red error message appears
- Common issues:
- Missing "Email" header
- Duplicate email addresses
- Invalid email formats
- File size exceeds 10,000 recipients
Send Your Campaign
- Compose your email content
- Select tracking preference
- Click Send & Track or schedule for later
