Monitor your email campaigns with the Scheduled, In Progress, and Sent email sections. Track delivery status, view performance metrics, and manage future sends.
Scheduled
- Click Emails at the top of the ContactMonkey dashboard
- Click the Scheduled sub-tab
- View the scheduled date, time, and recipient information for every campaign that is queued
Managing Scheduled Emails
The following actions can be accessed by clicking the vertical three-dot menu at the right of each campaign:
- Preview: See a copy of the email with sender and recipient information, along with tracking option

Reschedule: Adjust send date and time as needed
- Emails using the Timezone Sending feature must be deleted and recreated with the new date/time
- Apply Tag: Add or remove tags for organizational purposes
- Cancel Send: Remove email from scheduled queue
In Progress
- Click Emails at the top of the ContactMonkey dashboard
- Click the In Progress sub-tab
Managing In Progress Emails
After you send an email, it will show as In Progress in the dashboard. This status lasts until all copies reach your recipients and provides immediate clarity on delivery progress.
This mainly affects:
- Emails using the Timezone Sending feature
- Emails sent with Individual or Anonymous tracking to over 3,000 recipients, which usually takes longer
- Emails sent with Overall tracking usually deliver to all recipients instantaneously
Once the last copy is delivered, the status will change to Sent.
Cancelling Emails Mid-Send
You can stop an in-progress email before all copies are delivered:
- Navigate to the In Progress section of the ContactMonkey dashboard
- Click the vertical three-dot menu next to the email
- Select Cancel Send

Cancelled emails will automatically be assigned a cancelled tag in the ContactMonkey Sent folder. Please note that emails already delivered before cancellation cannot be recalled.
Sent
- Click Emails at the top of your dashboard
- Click the Sent sub-tab
