Access detailed performance metrics for your SMS campaigns in the Analytics section. Review delivery rates, opt-outs, and engagement data to measure your campaign success.
Access Your SMS Analytics
For organizations with the Email tool:
- Click your name in the top right corner of the ContactMonkey dashboard
- Click Switch to SMS
- Click Analytics
For organizations with SMS only:
- Click Analytics at the top of your dashboard
Understanding Your Data Overview
Your analytics dashboard displays three key metrics:
Total SMS Sent
Total number of message segments delivered. One segment equals 160 characters. Messages longer than 160 characters are split into multiple segments.
Total Recipients
Total count of unique phone numbers across all your uploaded CSV files.
Total Opt-Outs
The number of recipients who texted STOP to unsubscribe. These phone numbers are automatically excluded from all future campaigns.
View Individual Campaign Performance
The Sent SMS section shows all campaigns sent by your team members.
SMS Name
Click on your desired campaign to view the message content.
Sent By
The ContactMonkey user who sent the campaign.
Sent To
The contact list or CSV file that the campaign was sent to.
Sent Date
The date of delivery.
Recipients
Total number of recipients in your contact list or CSV file
URL Click %
The percentage of recipients who clicked a link in your SMS message (if applicable).
Bounce Rate
The percentage of contacts that did not receive the SMS message.
Campaign Actions
Click the three-dot menu item beside each campaign to:
- Download: Export campaign performance data in a CSV
- Delete Campaign: Permanently remove the campaign and all associated data
Important: Deleted campaigns cannot be recovered. Download your stats before deleting if you need the data for future reference.
Understanding Bounce Rate
Click here for more information on SMS delivery issues. A high bounce rate (above 5%) may indicate data quality issues with your recipient list. Review and clean your contact list regularly to maintain deliverability.
