Email Sending Limits in ContactMonkey

Your email provider (Microsoft or Google) sets daily limits on how many emails you can send. ContactMonkey works within these limits, and offers solutions to increase them when needed.

Understanding Your Sending Limits

Microsoft Exchange Online: 10,000 recipients per day
Gmail/Google Workspace: 2,000-3,000 recipients per day (varies by tracking type)

These limits apply to all emails sent from your account, including emails sent outside ContactMonkey.

Can ContactMonkey Change My Sending Limits?

ContactMonkey cannot override your email provider's default limits. However, the Email at Scale feature bypasses these restrictions by routing emails through ContactMonkey's infrastructure instead of your email provider's servers.

• Overall tracking still uses your email provider's servers (limits apply)

How Tracking Types Affect Sending Limits

ContactMonkey offers three tracking types that consume your sending limit differently:

Individual/Anonymous Tracking
Sends one separate email to each recipient. If you email 24 people, you use 24 of your daily sending limit. Anonymous tracking works the same way but doesn't track individual recipient data.

Overall Tracking
Sends one email per 500 recipients. If you email 1,200 people, ContactMonkey sends three emails (each to a batch of 500 or fewer recipients).
