Available Survey Types
1. Yes/No
Simple binary responses for quick agreement/disagreement questions.
Best for: Policy acknowledgments, simple preferences
2. Rating
Scale-based feedback using star/number ratings (1-5 scale).
Best for: Event satisfaction, content quality, service ratings
3. Emojis
Visual emoji responses to capture emotional reactions.
Best for: Meeting feedback, morale checks, reaction to announcements
4. eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score)
Measures likelihood to recommend (1-10 scale) - more information can be found here.
Best for: Company satisfaction, department feedback, post-event measurement
5. Poll (Single or Multiple Choice)
Custom options for specific feedback needs.
Best for: Decision making, preference collection, multiple option feedback
6. Text
Open-ended responses up to 500 characters for detailed feedback.
Best for: Collection of feedback on nuanced topics
How to Create and Insert a Reusable Survey
- Click Surveys in your dashboard
- Click New Survey
- Choose your survey type
- Customize your question, icon set, and enable comments if needed
- Click Preview Survey to review the appearance
- Click Create Survey to save
- Open the campaign you wish the survey to be included in the Email Builder
- Locate the Surveys content block and drag it to your desired position within your email on the left
- Click Insert Survey → Reusable survey
- Click the blue arrow beside your desired to insert

Survey States
Draft: Default state until sent in an email campaign
Published: Automatically changes when included in a sent email
Archived: Hidden from Email Builder but still accepts responses for 3 months
Customization Options
Icon Sets: Choose icons/emojis that match your brand voice. Icon sets can be edited after publication, but won't update in already-sent emails.
Poll Ordering: Drag and drop poll options to reorder how they appear to recipients.

Best Practices
- Edit surveys only from the Surveys section in the dashboard, not within the Email Builder
- Limit edits after publishing to maintain reporting consistency
- Use descriptive questions within character limits
- Enable comments only when detailed feedback is valuable
